What Heaven is Saying TodayBy Pastor James Durham

Yesterday I went into the worship room filled with gratitude for what the Lord has been doing in our lives in the past few months. I felt overwhelmed by the Lord’s generosity this morning and just wanted to sing praises and worship Him with all my heart, soul and body. Suddenly, I was carried to Heaven in a vision. In the vision, I was standing partially inside the branches of a tree. The leaves were very light green much like the color of the leaves on aspen trees. I thought about Revelation 22:2, “In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” I decided to eat some of the leaves and receive the promised healing. As I ate the first leaves, the tree suddenly transitioned to another season and the leaves were completely different in shape and color. These newly formed leaves were very dark green. I began to eat some of these leaves as well to receive even more of the promised healing. I took some of the leaves from both groups to bring back for others needing healing today.

This morning in a vision I was seated at a banquet table in Heaven. We were waiting for the arrival of the King of kings. I was seated across the table and to His left. His chair was larger than ours and had a carved plate with a crown centered in the back of the chair. No one was anxious or concerned about His delay in arriving. It was as if we all knew that He would arrive exactly on time as planned. I looked across the table and saw an empty chair. It had a wooden plate on the back with the words “Why Me?” carved into it. It seemed to be a kind of name plate for the person scheduled to sit there. I assumed that we all had names on our chairs, but I couldn’t see what they said. Perhaps the Holy Spirit can tell us what name the Lord has given to us in this season. I became aware through the Holy Spirit that the person who was to sit here had gotten caught up in questioning the Lord and didn’t hear his invitation to the banquet.

In my spirit, I heard the words, “And grumbler is his name.” I was led to Numbers 16:11, “It is against the Lord that you and all your followers have banded together. Who is Aaron that you should grumble against him?” As I prayed about this, I became convinced that grumbler was not the name of a person, but the name of the spirit which is oppressing him/her. People who grumble against others often fail to see that the true object of their complaints is the Lord. We must not allow ourselves to be deceived into grumbling against one another in this season. Remember James 5:9, “Don’t grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!”

The seasons have shifted and we must not let bad feelings from the past season cause us to miss what the Lord has for us in this new season. Our ancient enemy has not changed his tactics. He still wants to deceive us into bringing a curse upon ourselves as in the days of Balaam and Korah. Remember the danger referenced in Jude 1:10-11, “But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.” May all who are tempted to grumble today be set free from every oppressive spirt tempting them to take their eyes off of the Lord! May all who have already grumbled against the Lord and His anointed ones repent and return! May our spiritual ears be open wide to hear the Lord’s call on our lives today! May we hear the invitation to sit at His table of blessing today and every day! These things I pray in the mighty name of Yeshua ha Messiach! Amen and Amen!!!!
