What Heaven is Saying TodayBy Pastor James Durham

This morning I saw several visions of people, governments and military leaders preparing for war. People were checking their supplies of food and water. Government leaders from many nations were going over various military scenarios and considering their options for coming confrontations. Military leaders were doing last minute rehearsals and checking weapons and supplies. In these visions, I did not see anyone working on diplomatic solutions. They were all preparing for war. I asked the Lord if this meant that war was imminent. I was led by the Spirit to what Yeshua ha Messiach said in Matthew 24:6-8, “And you will hear of warsandrumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” We are not to be “troubled” or get into fear. So what should we be doing?

Rather than trying to reason this out, I went to the Lord and asked Him what we should be doing as we consider these things. I was led by the Spirit to the words of Yeshua in Matthew 24:42-44, “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Pray for wisdom to understand what the Lord is saying to you in this season and be prepared for whatever may come. As I thought about our situation, the words of Yeshua in Mark 13:37 came to my mind, “And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!” Are you watching and waiting on the Lord in these last days? Are you prepared? Are you ready for the coming of the Son of Man?

As I prepared to release this, I was reminded that Shabbat begins at Sundown today. It has already begun for some who will read this. I felt the Shalom Glory of the Lord coming over me as I remembered (“Remember Shabbat to keep it holy!”). I remembered what Yeshua said to the disciples over an over after the resurrection, “Shalom Aleichem!” Peace be with you! Do not be in fear as you prepare or as you watch for the Lord. He is your “Sar Shalom,” He is the Prince of Peace. As we watch and wait, we continue to help others come to a saving knowledge of the Lord of Shalom, Yeshua ha Messiach! Amen?

Shabbat Shalom! Shalom Aleichem!
