What Heaven is Saying TodayBy Pastor James Durham

This morning I went into the Lord’s presence to give Him thanks after members of our family and our friends survived Hurricane Irma in Florida. I began by using the guidance given in Psalm 100:4-5, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.” After praying in the Spirit for several minutes, I received two visions from the Lord:

First, I saw seven people standing before a judge seeking to be released on probation. One by one, they came forward and were told that the time needed to repent, renew their minds and transform their souls was not yet completed. I was reminded by the Holy Spirit of the words in Romans 12:2, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” All of these people were ordered to stay in prison until the fullness of these spiritual works were completed. The number seven speaks of completeness and I received this as a word for all of us. Things will not be right until all believers come before the Lord in repentance for their nations as well as their own unrighteous actions. (see 2 Chronicles 7:14)

The vision shifted and I was standing in front of a very large horse with a sore tooth because of an abscess. The horse was very powerful and resisted anyone touching or checking on its teeth. The horse finally laid down. I walked over to the horse and began to softly speak to him. I asked permission to check on the tooth. The horse allowed me to first touch his lips and gently move toward the tooth. It definitely had to be removed, but the horse was very anxious about this. Again, I asked permission to remove the tooth and the horse settled down. Using a large pair of pliers, I pulled the tooth. The horse immediately began to get better and stood up again. Then I recognized that this was a powerful war horse. I understood this vision to be speaking about our unpreparedness for war (spiritual and natural). The problem is in our mouths. I believe we are being called to get our voices in alignment with the Lord. We need to stop speaking word curses and releasing doubts and unbelief. Luke 6:45, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouthspeaks.”

I was led to Romans 12:14-16, “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.” It is time to humble ourselves and pray. It is time to get our mouths, tongues and voices in alignment with the Lord. Amen?
