What Heaven is Saying TodayBy Pastor James Durham

The day after Yom Kippur is the time to begin constructing your sukkah for the season of Sukkot. I was under my tallit (my personal prayer sukkah) thinking about a new way of constructing the sukkah in our Worship Room. Suddenly, I went into an open vision. I was in a boat like those on the Sea of Galilee except it did not have a roof. A furious storm arose blowing huge white capped waves from the right side of the boat. I understood right away that it was an enemy attack coming against the authority of Spirit filled believers. The temptation was to turn away from the storm, but we were in danger of capsizing with that move. The only way was to head directly into the storm. Then I heard the Lord saying, “Do not be afraid! I AM with you!” Encouraged and strengthen we turn directly into the storm and moved safely through it.

Whatever storm you may be in today, do not turn away in an attempt to escape. Turn directly into the storm knowing with certainty that the Lord is with you and you must not get caught up in a spirit of fear. Remember the promise in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Trust Him to never leave you or forsake you! Amen and Amen!!!
