What Heaven is Saying TodayBy Pastor James Durham

Shavua Tov!

This morning the Lord gave me another series of visions. In the first vision, I saw many sad, emaciated and hostile faces. People were reaping the consequences of their rebellion and sin against the Lord. Some were sad and others were angry. Some were grumbling against the Lord’s anointed servants. All of them were blaming the believers for their situations. It reminded me of the Children of Israel who came under judgment for joining Korah in rebellion against the Lord. “On the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, saying, “You have killed the people of the Lord.” Now it happened, when the congregation had gathered against Moses and Aaron, that they turned toward the tabernacle of meeting; and suddenly the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared.” (Numbers 16:41-42) When the judgment came, they tried to blame it all on Moses and Aaron rather than accept responsibility for their own behavior. We are entering a season like that. Don’t be surprised when people try to place all the blame on you while refusing to take responsibility for their own decisions and actions. Don’t accept the blame. Do what Moses and Aaron did. Take it to the Lord in humility while praying for those who have separated themselves from the Lord.

Suddenly the vision shifted to something much more pleasant. Many of us were seated together in a large restaurant. As the food was being served, everyone took portions from their own plates and shared with others. There was a wonderful sense of love for one another and I was filled with joy. I believe this is the call of the Lord on His people today. We must escape from the business of judging and condemning one another and prove to the World that we belong to Yeshua by the love we share. Remember what Jesus said in John 13:34-35, “A new commandment I give to you, that you loveoneanother; as I have loved you, that you also loveoneanother. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

After the meal we left the restaurant together filled with love and joy. Some people got into a large green pickup truck. I believed the color was a prophetic word about the prosperity available to those who are in unity with the Lord and with one another. Then I saw something strange. The edge of the passenger door on the truck did not line up well with the edge of the door frame. It spoke to me about poor workmanship. I sought understanding and receive this: The things produced by the world will become more and more distorted and the low quality of the fruit will become evident to those with spiritual discernment. We must decide to rely solely on the Lord and not to lean on the support of worldly institutions and political leaders. Proverbs 3:5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Believers are the true leaders in this new season and need to step forward in their anointing and release the wisdom of the Lord to break through the dense cloud of deception in the world.

Another vision came of people eating together. This time all the food was green and seemed to be very fresh and nutritious. In this season the Lord is feeding us with the rich food of Heaven to nourish us in spirit, soul and body. It is not enough to feed your body well in the natural. In this season it is imperative that we go to the Lord to be fed with the things needed in our souls and spirits. I thought about Isaiah 55:1-2, “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance.”
