What Heaven is Saying TodayBy Pastor James Durham

Shavua Tov!

In a vision this morning I visited several heavenly places. A common theme began to emerge. It was food. I wondered if being hungry was producing this result, but soon learned that it was something more than this. I entered a large banquet room and the tables were set and people were seated in most of the places. I was told that I (this “I” is inclusive of each of us and not just me) would be seated at the head of the table, but it was already filled. I moved to the only seat still open. It was the seat at the greatest distance from the head of the table. I felt comfortable here until an angel told me to move to the head of the table. We looked together and saw that it was filled. Suddenly another angel went over to a couple and told them they would have to move to another seat. They were very upset and began to rebel against the directions of the angel. Eventually, they were forced to move and two of us were escorted toward the head of the table. Then the vision was over.

I knew this was about what the Lord taught in Luke 14:8-11, “When someone invites you to a wedding feast, donottake the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited. If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this man your seat.’ Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place. But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all your fellow guests. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

The message from Heaven today is that humble people are going to be elevated in this season. Rebellious people are going to be moved down from positions of power and prestige to make way for the true servants of the Lord. I will say it again: this was a message for you more than for me.

Expect to be elevate in the next few days. Keep your heart humble and wait for the Lord to move you into the position He has planned for you. It is time for your advancement in the Kingdom of God.
