What Heaven is Saying TodayBy Pastor James Durham

After being in worship for an extended time, I began to see a vision. I saw a large ship wrecked at the bottom of a very deep part of the ocean. The top half of the ship was gone and I could see into the cargo hold. The first thing I saw was a pile of weapons of mass destruction. In another compartment was a huge supply of pure gold. The gold had not tarnished or been covered by things in the ocean. It was still reflecting light and looking exceedingly shiny. It seemed odd that these two things were on the same ship. Then I learned from the Holy Spirit that this was actually two wrecks. The first contained the gold and then the shipment of weapons landed on top of the wreckage. No one was searching for the gold, but people were aggressively looking for the weapons. When they found the weapons, they would see the gold. I wondered if this was something in the natural or in the spiritual realm. I think it may be both, but it is definitely something in the spiritual realm.

I began to receive understanding from the Holy Spirit. People today love weapons more than gold. Many nations are obsessed with having powerful weapons of destruction and will sacrifice all their gold to get what their heart desires. The basic survival needs of people are overlooked and their spiritual connection with the Lord is lost. As I thought about these things, it occurred to me this a spiritual test. What do we love most? What is your heart desiring and what are you seeking with all your might? Then the words of Psalm 119:127-128 came to my mind: “Therefore I love Your commandments more than gold, yes, than fine gold! Therefore all Your precepts concerning all things I consider to be right; I hate every false way.” Do we love the Word of God more than gold and silver? Do we love the Lord more than the weapons of our warfare? I received this message as a powerful call to get our priorities straight once again. If the Lord gives you the desire of your heart, what will it be?

2 Corinthians 10:4-6, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” I am seeking weapons of mass conversion. How about you? It is time to earnestly seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. It is time to let the Spirit of truth guide us into a full understanding of our heart, and to lead us back to the righteous things of the Lord.
