This morning the weighty and power packed presence of the Lord was extremely strong again. The air was electrified with His presence and things seemed to be moving around me as a result of His presence. As I went face down, I was suddenly startled by what I saw in the Spirit. It is a very nice, clear and sunny day here, but I was startled by dark clouds, huge bolts of lighting, loud roars of thunder, and a shaking of the entire earth. My thoughts went to Exodus 19:16-20,
“Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice. Then the Lord came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.”
This morning, I sensed that this is a day like that day. The Lord is descending again on the mountains which are before us in this generation. Are we ready for it? Then I heard the Lord command: “Stop thinking what you are thinking! Stop saying what you are saying! Stop doing what you are doing! This is a day for you to think what I am thinking, say what I am saying, and do what I am doing!”
A great shaking of the earth is at hand! Are you ready for it? The Lord is about to do something dramatic to capture our attention once again! The Lord is about to do something so startling that we will be incapable of simply doing our daily business as usual! Truthfully, I don’t think we are ready for it! I think we have gotten very busy with our version of His Kingdom work and He is about to give us some “shock and awe” to wake us up and get us back on His plan! “Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.” (Revelation 11:19) Do you sense the opening of the Temple in Heaven? Can you feel what the Lord releasing? He is letting loose something that will shake up the order of things on the earth?
I sensed this morning that the Lord is about to do something very startling to the world, but He doesn’t want us to be startled. So, He is letting us know in advance so that we can be prepared. Are you ready for the Lord to shake things up in order to wake up the mighty warriors? Do you sense that a trumpet is about to be blown into Zion and the Lord is calling His army to be ready?
“And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.” (Revelation 16:18-20)
I pray that we will hear His wakeup call and be ready for the next move of God! I pray that we will stay alert and be about our Father’s business when He comes! I pray that we will be so strong in the Spirit that we will be unshakeable as this move of God manifests! Amen and Amen!
