This morning I asked the Lord to give us a Word for a Shabbat meditation. Almost immediately, I went into an open vision. I was in the training room in Heaven and the Lord was teaching about a great outpouring of Living Water which He wants to release to us. I only learned this part about the water near the end of the vision.
It began with us looking at the face of a young girl who seemed to be very hurt and upset. I soon
learned that someone had abused her and the pain of it was almost unbearable. In addition to her embarrassment, she had been betrayed and violated by someone very close to her. Shame and self-doubt had overtaken her spirit and soul. As I looked at her, I thought she was about nine years old, but the Lord told me that she was an adult who was still so focused on this hurt and the painful memories that she was emotionally and spiritually stuck. He said to tell her that He wants to heal her and set her free. If she will accept it, it can happen right now.
I don’t know who you are. The Lord didn’t reveal that to me this morning, but I believe it is someone who will see this message. If you believe this is you, I pray that you will accept what the Lord has for you right now. He was not chastising you for being stuck. His love for you is very strong and He wants you to be completely healed. I thought about what Jesus said in John 8:34-36, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” This is your day to finally be set free so that you can be open to receive everything He has for you!
Then I saw a man who was looking up to the Lord. It was clear that he wanted to be close to Jesus, but he was not able to move toward Him this morning. There was an expression on His face which was very rigid and seemed cold, but that was not his real story. Life has been hard and he has labored long without seeing much in the way of results. He wants more, but he is afraid to risk taking it, because he might get hurt and disappointed again.
The Lord was standing close to him and wanted to pour out a great flow of the Father’s love to him. The Lord was patiently waiting for him to be ready to receive. If this is you, the Lord wants to fill you with hope again. He wants you to have the kind of faith-based hope mentioned in Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” He wants it to be substance for you so that you can take hold of it and make it your own. Trust Him again and open up to receive what He has for you.
We were all suddenly focused on a bucket of water on the floor. Water was constantly flowing from above and the bucket was overflowing. A great deal of water was spilling out and running across the floor. The Lord was amazed by our behavior. We just stood looking at it. The Lord wanted us to pick it up and drink from it and then share it with others, but we were somehow frozen by the limitations we have accepted in our hearts. It is time to be set free from these limitations and get into the flow of His abundance. Are you ready for it?
I pray that we will take some time during this Shabbat observance (beginning at sundown today), and meditate on these things! I also pray that you will quickly get past the meditating, and put it into action! It is time to freely receive so that you can freely give! Amen?
