This morning I was on my knees under my little sukkah (tent made with my extra-large tallit) again seeking wisdom, revelation, counsel, might, understanding and a greater sense of the awe of the Lord. I asked the Father to answer my prayer as I placed a claim on the promise of Jesus, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” (John 16:13) I am so hungry and thirsty for revelation knowledge about the kingdom of God, the hosting of His Glory, and understanding of His specific desires for my service to Him. How about you? I asked to receive an extra-large portion of the truth even if it hurt. I prayed for healing from any hurt from the truth and the ability to live by whatever He revealed to me. I had six specific questions which I lifted up this morning and the seventh was for whatever He wanted to give me. Wow! The Lord really came through this morning and it was so much more simple than I had been expecting. What a blessing! Try it! The Lord loves it when you place a claim on His promises and agree to live by His Word.
Suddenly, I was lifted up by the Spirit to the Most Holy Place in Heaven. It was too awesome to describe. I had an extremely powerful experience of awe for the Lord in this place. My first reaction was to ask a few questions. Should I be in this place? How can I be allowed in such a holy place? Do I need to seek forgiveness for entering this place so abruptly? I had planned to do the Psalm 100 steps to enter the glory. I planned to enter the gates with thanksgiving, the courts with praise, and the secret place with worship. However, before I could do any of these things, the Spirit brought me into this place. Then it hit me. If the Spirit brought me here it must be okay. I went face down before the Lord and deep gratitude filled my spirit for being allowed to enter into His Secret Place this morning.
After soaking in this place for a few minutes, I was carried by the Spirit to another room. Everything in this room was made of pure gold. There were low tables and benches all around, each of pure gold. I had not seen this room before, but learned later that this was an equipping room. Each of us received a medium sized backpack filled with supplies. As I looked into the open backpack, I saw a very large bottle of the energy drink called vitamin water, several energy bars, various small booklets to spread the gospel of the kingdom of God and other things I did not see clearly. Then the Lord said, “It is time to extend your area of influence! It is time to extend your tent pegs! You are now equipped to go further in your mission area, and you must not delay!”
When I heard this from the Lord, I thought of Isaiah 54:2-4 (The Message Bible) “Clear lots of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep. You’re going to need lots of elbow room for your growing family. You’re going to take over whole nations; you’re going to resettle abandoned cities. Don’t be afraid—you’re not going to be embarrassed. Don’t hold back—you’re not going to come up short. You’ll forget all about the humiliations of your youth, and the indignities of being a widow will fade from memory.”
As we prepared to leave Heaven and enter the mission field, I remembered the prayer of Jabez, “Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez (Literally He will cause Pain, from NKJV), saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.” (1 Chronicles 4:9-10).
Think about it!
God answers prayers like this. He is ready and willing to enlarge your territory! His hand will be with you! He will keep you from evil! He will help you to cause no pain and experience no pain! Think about it! All you have to do is ask! Read again the prophetic word form Isaiah 54:2-4 and claim it for yourself, your family, and your church! God is faithful! He will answer prayers like this! However, you still need to ask! Remember what Jesus said, “Ask and you will receive!” Amen and Amen!
