This weekend, my experiences with the Lord have dealt mostly with the book I am writing, “Seven Levels of Glory.” Yesterday, I was lifted up into His presence and placed on my back as a large bright amber container came over my mouth and began to pour something like thick oil or honey into me. I didn’t really feel anything and I asked for understanding. The Lord said, “You were not supposed to feel it! It was an outpouring of wisdom and revelation! Accept it by faith!” I immediately opened up wider to receive more. I remember 2 Corinthians 5:7, “For we walk by faith and not by sight.” I added to it: We do not walk by feelings. We walk by faith.
This morning there was another outpouring of revelation from the Lord. We were being given something like a “chalk talk” like a coach gives to his team. The Lord was putting things on a chalk board and then giving us visions to fully understand their meaning. The visions were all about getting ready and staying prepared. In one vision, we were carried into something like a huge utility room and doing our laundry. After things were cleaned, we folded them and put them into suitcases. In the second vision, we were carried to homes and directed to get both the outside and inside ready. I remembered the Lord saying several times in recent months, “It is time to get you houses in order!”
In another vision many people were packing cars and trucks in preparation for trips. I knew this had to do with ministry. It is time to get our ministries fully prepared and on the road. If the Lord has given you something to do in ministry which has not yet manifested, check with the Spirit. It seems that it is time to get things going.
Then we were back in the training room and the Lord was inviting people to come up to the chalk board and add to what He had drawn by putting their part of the plan with His. A problem immediately manifested. Almost everyone had a plan which did not quite line up with what the Lord had planned. Most of us had simply made our own plans and then tried to see how they lined up with His. The Lord did not publicly humiliate anyone. He just helped us see that we need to focus on His plan first and then line up with what He is doing.
Then a final vision was given. We were very suddenly carried to a race track where automobiles were being lined up. People seemed to be aimlessly moving around in the stands and on the track as if unaware that it was time for the race to begin. There were many distractions placed before people all over the area. Most of them were planned to draw people to things of the flesh and away from what the Spirit was doing. People who seemed to be in charge were getting frustrated trying to get people in place for the race. I don’t think this needs much explanation except to quote Hebrews 12:1-2, “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
There is an urgent appeal from the Lord for us to get ready for what is about to be manifested in the spiritual realm. We need to line up with Him before He releases the shift for the new thing He is about to do. If we are not lined up with Him, we may miss it altogether, but at the minimum we will have to spend too much time trying to catch up. Now is the time to open your mouth wide and let Him pour wisdom and revelation into your spirit and soul! Now is the time to get ready and stay prepared! Now is a time to get our houses in order and make all the preparations necessary so that we can affirm with Paul, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:7-8)
Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus! Amen!
