SHABBAT SHALOM!
This morning I heard the Lord say something I have not heard for a while. He was announcing an extraordinary release of favor, blessing, provision and protection when He decreed, “This is Favor Friday!” I remembered Exodus 16:22-23, “And so it was, on the sixth day, that they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. Then he said to them, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.’” There is a promise of double portion blessings and provision today which will carry over through Shabbat. Are you ready to receive it? The children of Israel did not have to work twice as hard to get the double portion blessing because the Lord multiplied what they had.
The Lord also gave a word of caution for today. I saw many people slip and trip, but they did not fall because the Lord reached out His hand and caught them. Be very careful today about slipping and tripping. The Lord has already released a protective cover for those willing to receive it. Lift up prayers for your protection and the protection over those in your care. Then I went into an open vision and was following close behind an 18-wheeler which swerved off the road and almost crashed into a ditch. I was carried in the Spirit alongside the truck. The driver had fallen asleep and almost crashed. If he had crashed it would have involved many other people in vehicles close behind. The Lord awakened him and brought him back safely to the road. There are two cautions in this message. Be careful as you drive, and watch out for the vehicles around you. Seek the Lord’s help to stay awake and for Him to help others stay alert. The main thing is to be very careful if you are driving today.
Then I watched as the Lord gave some kind of provision to everyone visiting with Him this morning. At first I thought it was manna because of what I had received in the beginning, but soon saw that it was more than just manna. I don’t know with certainty what it was. I believe it was some type of heavenly food. The Spirit said that this would provide abundant provision for the Lord’s people in spirit, soul, and body. There is an outpouring of provision from heaven today and it will continue through tomorrow. This is a time to receive more than you have asked or imagined. This is a time to receive supernatural provisions which are not familiar to you now but represent a release of abundance. I don’t know about you, but I am ready to receive it.
The caution here is to just take it and not judge it. It is not a good day from grumbling or criticism. These emotions and actions will take away your blessings. Now is a day to begin to speak out words of praise and build up your gratitude. Remember Psalm 100:4-5, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.” The spirit of gratitude needs to begin before these promised things manifest. Words of thanks and praise will open the floodgates of Heaven for you today and through Shabbat.
Malachi 3:10b-11, “Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit,” says the LORD Almighty.”
May you experience supernatural abundance, provision, protection, blessing and favor today which will provide more than enough for now and continue to provide for you far into the future! Amen and Amen!
