SHABBAT SHALOM!
This morning I was carried by the Spirit in a vision to a church in DaeJeon, South Korea. I was near the front of the church on one side looking toward the back when suddenly a powerful flow of the Glory of God burst into the sanctuary like a powerful light. The Glory of the Lord was moving over the people and resting on each one. I was filled with joy for this outpouring and somewhat surprised when a dark and twisting manifestation of a demonic spirit appeared near the entrance and above the height of the people. The Holy Spirit quickly revealed to me that it was a spirit of witchcraft which had been released against the church by well-meaning but sincerely wrong people from another group. However, this spirit could not press through the Glory light from the Lord. Therefore it never reached the people, but it persisted in trying to get in.
I began to intercede and speak against this spirit of witchcraft. It was inhibited, but persisted in being present in the room. Then the Lord said that the members of the church needed to stand in agreement and break the power of this spirit of witchcraft. Their unity will bring the power of God to bind this spirit and cast it out of the church. When this happens, it will release an even more powerful flow of His Glory. The good news was that this spirit was not allowed to touch or hurt any of those present because they were hosting the Glory of the Lord. The Spirit revealed to me that this is not just a word for this church. It is a word for your church as well. This is a season of intense spiritual warfare and we need to stand in unity and agreement to break its power and cast it out of our part of the Body of Christ.
The Lord then said, “This kind of attack will continuously increase in frequency and the power of the attacks. The church needs to get into agreement and stay in agreement! The church needs to speak decrees which will bring down these strongholds of the enemy! But, first, examine yourself and make sure that none of this witchcraft is being spoken from you, your family, or your church!” I felt a sudden and very deep concern for the body of Christ in this season. We could be sincerely speaking words of witchcraft if we are not vigilant to hear and be led by the Holy Spirit. We need to be very cautious now about the words which come out of our mouths. We must make every effort to speak blessing and truth and to avoid words of judgment and condemnation. (“Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.” - Romans 12:14) We must be careful not to attempt to exercise control over others. In other words, we must rid ourselves and our churches of every vestige of the Jezebel spirit before we can minister effectively to others. “Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.” (Romans 12:15-16)
The good news is that the Glory of the Lord is a shield over us and over the body of Christ. I am pressing in for more of His Glory! How about you? The Spirit led me again to Romans 12:1-2, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” I want to be free from everything which might hinder the flow of His Glory! I continue to daily press in for the renewing of my mind and the transforming of my soul! How about you?
May the Lord give you deep rest during this Shabbat observance! May you receive blessing, favor, peace, protection, prosperity, and prophetic words to protect and guide you during this time of intense spiritual warfare! May you always stand in the victory of Jesus and experience the deep joy of the Holy Spirit! May you receive the fruit of the Spirit and produce more of it to share with others to sustain them in these exciting times as His coming draws nigh! Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus! Amen and Amen!
